Silves Golf Description

We offer discount golf rates for the 18 hole Silves Golf Course situated near to the town of Silves. This is the latest course belonging to the Pestana Group and is surrounded by typical Algarve fruit orchards and small farms. The course has been designed to test the quality in hitting a well directed ball using the correct choice of club. This point is immediately emphasised as you stand on the first tee faced by two water hazards flanking the fairway. The course has been described as designed for attacking play whilst the bunkers are well placed to cause possible trouble to the big hitters.

Course is in excellent condition, greens were amazing and good to see a ranger in situ

Very pleasant staff. Course in excellent condition. Interesting variety of holes with some long Par 3 holes. The round was adversely affected for a lot of players due to very slow play. One group lost 2 full holes. We were waiting with 3 other groups on a par 3 tee for 20 minutes! There should be a Marshall to ask slow players to lift their balls and move on .

It was our first time playing on this course, but definitely won t be our last . Everyone was so helpful as 2 of the party rented clubs . Course was amazing especially after the weather ye had experienced the last few weeks. We ll definitely be back.
