Orange is the new Black
What a beautiful course (maybe we are biased because of being blinded by the constant sunshine in mid-february).

The 'Orange Grove' is one of most beautiful courses in Algarve - course layout is great, fairways are beautiful and greens are fast but true. There are a few holes which reward the gutsy (but great) shot, but overall it's a course that offers a lot to golfers of varying abilities.

I've promised myself (and my 12 y/o son, who was not with me on this trip), that we're coming back to Laranjal.

The whole setup on all three courses at Quinta do Lago is second to none, and I'll recommend to everyone who's going to Algarve to play golf, to try all three courses.

Well set out holes with some really nice par 3's. Not terribly long off the yellows however the course is tree lined on every hole so keep it straight. Welcome at reception wasn't terribly warm which didn't put us off. The marshals were spot on and even started us on 10 to save us a bit of time. A buggy is a must as you'll walk nearly as far as the course going from green to the next tee. The course was in excellent condition with well maintained greens. We played a 2 ball and our round took 4 hours however we did get held up just before the turn then played behind two 4's on the 2nd 9. Normal dress code required for golf, please not tho ladies are required to wear a collared top also. Worth a visit.

Not as good as last year
Played last hear on O'Connor jr course and couldn't adult ANYTHING, this hear Faldo course. Course was in perfect condition and more challenging tnan O'Connor, but total visitor experiences is less then last year, little things like tokens for range balls instead of the prepared complimentary pyramids, small things but it's the difference between 4 stars and 5 stars.

First time playing Santa Antonio
Fantastic and challenging course!! Very undulating, narrow, blind holes, uphill and not for golfers looking for a leisure game. I personally love it even though I played poorly and my partner absolutely hated the course. 13th hole is stunning with fairways like a narrow valley and the pine trees backdrop framing the green looks picture perfect!!
